Instructional Aide Opportunities Flexible, Per Diem Positions in Taylor, MI

Seeking compassionate and dedicated Instructional Aides to support students on a 1:1 basis within school settings. These per diem roles offer the chance to positively impact student learning and development while working flexible shifts tailored to school coverage needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom environments
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by teachers and school staff
• Help students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation
• Implement behavior support plans and adhere to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care requirements
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Compliance with tuberculosis (TB) testing as required
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Must have current clearances or be willing to obtain them before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism spectrum disorders, or behavioral challenges
• Training or certification in CPI, PMT, or RBT is an advantage
