Location: This is an on-site role based in Troy, Michigan. Attorneys should be local to the area and licensed to practice in Michigan.
Note: Michigan Bar admission, litigation experience, and a background in employment law, commercial litigation, or closely related civil litigation are required.

Job Description
- Handle litigation matters with a focus on employment law, commercial litigation, or both.
- Represent clients in disputes involving employment claims, civil rights matters, non-compete and trade secret issues, wage and hour claims, business disputes, and related litigation.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, correspondence, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and develop thoughtful case strategy.
- Take and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and participate in hearings, court appearances, mediations, and trial preparation.
- Counsel clients on employment law issues, litigation risk, dispute strategy, and practical business solutions.
- Work directly with experienced attorneys while continuing to build litigation, trial, and client-facing skills.
- Manage deadlines, case files, discovery, and client communications with professionalism and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Active Michigan Bar license in good standing.
- 3+ years of attorney experience.
- Litigation experience required, preferably in employment law, commercial litigation, civil rights defense, wage and hour claims, non-compete matters, trade secrets, or business disputes.
- Deposition experience strongly preferred.
- Strong interest in appearing in court, learning trial skills, and developing as a hands-on litigator.
- Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong professional judgment, problem-solving ability, organization, and work ethic.
- Must be proactive, resourceful, responsive, and comfortable working in a team-oriented environment.
