MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

We are hiring hands-on Maintenance Technicians to help ensure that our plastic injection molding facilities in Michigan run effectively. This role involves working 2 weeks per month in Metro Detroit and 2 weeks per month on the west-side of the state. While traveling, accommodations are paid for, mileage is reimbursed, and a daily per diem is provided. salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 3 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Ensure preventative / predictive maintenance on equipment, machinery, tools and document PM at 2 Michigan facilities
• Review and inspect equipment on a daily basis for safe and proper operating conditions
• Assist with major job repairs to machine, equipment or components and troubleshooting when needed

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 6 hours at one time
• working weekends
