Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the continuous operation and reliability of IT and Operational Technology (OT) systems critical for manufacturing production.
• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, industrial control systems (ICS), and endpoint devices across manufacturing facilities.
• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies to protect proprietary data, intellectual property, and production systems from threats.
• Oversee the help desk and technical support operations, providing timely resolution for IT issues impacting factory floor operations and business users.
• Lead IT projects, including the implementation and upgrade of ERP, MES, WMS, and automation systems to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
• Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring optimal service delivery and cost-effectiveness for manufacturing technology solutions.
• Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans tailored to the unique requirements of a manufacturing environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience leading IT operations and infrastructure specifically within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise with manufacturing IT systems such as ERP, MES, SCADA, and industrial automation.
• Strong project management skills for complex IT implementations and upgrades in a production setting.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, particularly for industrial control systems (ICS/OT).
• Ability to strategically align IT initiatives with manufacturing business objectives and drive digital transformation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Operational Technology (OT) systems (e.g., SCADA, MES, PLC integration).
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Experience with major manufacturing ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle EBS).
