Job Title: Brick Laborer
Job Description

We are seeking experienced brick and masonry laborers with over 2 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The role involves site preparation, running string lines for layouts, and working with various masonry materials such as mortar and fine sand. Candidates should be able to read general prints and layouts, and handle loading and unloading of building materials.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the site by shoveling, raking, compacting, digging, and cleaning up.
• Run string lines for layout guidance and site preparation.
• Work with concrete, bricks, and mortar, including fine sand and other masonry materials.
• Read and interpret general prints and layouts.
• Load and unload building materials.
• Perform block work, concrete finishing, and retaining wall building.

• Experience in concrete and brick work.
• Proficiency in running string lines for layouts.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with hand and power tools, including trowels.

• Experience in stonemasonry and new construction.
• Familiarity with general labor tasks related to masonry work.

Work Environment

Join a renovation project at a high-end country club, where respect for the property is paramount. We welcome local candidates and offer a daily per diem of $25 along with paid lodging for those from outside the area.

This is a Permanent position based out of Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $45760.00/yr.
