Landscape Irrigation Technician

Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems, including valves, controllers, mainlines, and laterals
- Perform seasonal system maintenance, including start-up, midseason checks, and shutdown/winterization
- Diagnose and program irrigation controllers; install backflow preventers, flow sensors, and pressure regulators
- Repair leaks in lateral and main lines, conduct valve diagnostics, and maintain valves and electrical components
- Operate trenchers, compactors, and hand tools safely for digging and repairs
- Retrofit and upgrade existing irrigation systems for optimal water coverage and efficiency
- Perform troubleshooting, wiring repairs, and implement water management practices
- Communicate effectively with clients, co-workers, and management; accurately complete inventory and service documentation
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license REQUIRED
- Reliable transportation REQUIRED
- Consistent and dependable attendance
- Experience with installation, troubleshooting, and repair of irrigation systems
- Proficiency with hand tools, remote controls, station master, and voltmeter
- Basic knowledge of horticulture practices and safety procedures
- Ability to meet labor goals and specifications while maintaining job quality
- Strong communication and customer service skills
