Maintenance Technician - 1st or 2nd shift
We are hiring for a First or Second Shift Maintenance Technician at a global metal manufacturer supplying the automotive and aerospace industries in Troy, MI. This critical role offers a preferred 4-day work week (Monday-Thursday, 6:30AM-4:30PM OR 4:30PM - 2:30AM), with the potential for overtime on Fridays. Experience repairing both newer and older machines/equipment is ideal. education: High School Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on production equipment.
- Preventive Maintenance (PM): Execute scheduled PM tasks, inspections, and adjustments to machinery to prevent failure.
- Electrical Systems: Work with and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, including up to 480V and control circuits and servo drives.
- Mechanical Systems: Maintain and repair mechanical components such as gearboxes, bearings, chains, sprockets, and seals. Perform pipefitting and tubing repair.
- Facilities Maintenance: Assist with general building and grounds maintenance, including HVAC and lighting systems, if needed.
- Documentation: Accurately document all maintenance work performed.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all plant safety regulations.
