Accouns Receivable Specialist

Description We're looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to support daily billing, collections, and cash application functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable managing high volumes of transactions, and able to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams. Responsibilities: + Generate and distribute invoices accurately and on schedule + Process customer payments, including checks, ACH, and credit card transactions + Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on past-due accounts + Research and resolve billing discrepancies or payment issues + Maintain customer account records and update payment information as needed + Prepare aging reports and assist with month-end closing activities + Collaborate with sales, customer service, and accounting teams to ensure accurate billing + Support audit requests and provide documentation as required Requirements Requirements: + 1-3 years of AR, billing, accounting, or related experience + Strong understanding of basic accounting principles + Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or similar) + Strong communication and customer-service skills + High attention to detail and accuracy + Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment + Intermediate Excel skills preferred Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
