Database Engineer - (Hybrid) - Remote

Are you passionate about database engineering and looking for an opportunity to work on impactful projects? We are seeking an experienced Database Engineer to join our team! This role involves designing, developing, and supporting complex applications while ensuring that the technical design aligns with business requirements. You will also provide guidance to the development team and contribute to technical roadmaps.

What You'll Do:

Design and develop database models, including entity, logical, and physical data models.

Perform database design across multiple platforms.

Provide technical guidance to application development teams.

Ensure application architecture aligns with business requirements.

Tune SQL queries, troubleshoot issues, and optimize database performance.

Integrate software components into fully functional systems.

Develop prototypes and mockups for user review and approval.

Create flowcharts, screen layouts, and documentation to ensure logical system requirements.

Work on large-scale agile projects.

Fine-tune data models to achieve consistent performance.

Utilize metadata management and data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, ER Studio, or similar).

What We're Looking For:

8+ years of experience designing and reviewing logical and physical data models in SQL and/or PL/SQL.

6+ years of hands-on relational, dimensional, and/or analytic experience.

6+ years of experience in writing SQL packages, functions, triggers, and performing mass data updates/deletes.

3+ years of experience in query optimization and performance tuning.

3+ years of experience in data conversion and transformation strategies.
