Salary Range: $83,000 - $128,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of preventative and reactive maintenance for manufacturing equipment, plant infrastructure, and utilities.
• Develop and manage the annual facilities budget, controlling operational costs and capital expenditures.
• Ensure facility compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and building code regulations.
• Manage relationships and contracts with external vendors for services such as cleaning, security, waste management, and specialized repairs.
• Lead and manage facilities-related projects, including renovations, equipment installations, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Implement and maintain robust safety protocols and emergency preparedness plans for the manufacturing site.
• Optimize utility consumption and manage energy efficiency initiatives across the facility.

Recommended Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing facilities operations within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and industrial machinery maintenance.
• Proven track record in project management, budget administration, and vendor contract negotiation.
• Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) and environmental compliance pertinent to manufacturing.
• Experience implementing and managing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and preventative maintenance programs.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles applied to facility operations and maintenance.
• LEED AP or other sustainability/energy management certification.
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) for facility layout and space planning.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) implementation or optimization in a manufacturing setting.
