**SUMMARY:
**
The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for oversight of the department’s day to day operations. The position will have direct reports and will provide leadership to ensure the essential duties of the department are achieved. Additionally, the Accounts Payable Manager will be the main point of contact for various departments such as Accounting, Purchasing and Treasury.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Day to day responsibilities such as entering invoices, following up on open receipts and approval requests, etc.
Assistance with manufacturing’s monthly inventory.
Banking Activity Monitoring and Postings
Supervising the department as described below.

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
**
Personnel management which includes annual performance reviews, work load allocations, conflict resolution, etc.
Management of weekly payment proposals and verifying documentation requirements are met before submission to the Corporate Controller.
Management of audit documentation requests.
Verifying the month end close responsibilities of the department are met timely and accurately.
Facilitating responses to accounting personnel inquiries.
Continuous process improvement initiates.
Resolution of vendor disputes.
**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School diploma with a minimum of two years of equivalent Accounts Payable experience
Proficient with M
icrosoft Office applications

- Associate’s degree with a minimum of two years of equivalent Accounts Payable experience
