ABOUT THE POSITION
Orthopaedic Associates of Muskegon (OAM) is seeking a Pelvic Health Physical Therapist to join our Physical Therapy team. This role is a licensed clinician specializing in the evaluation and treatment of pelvic health conditions. This role focuses on providing high-quality, evidence-based care to a diverse patient population with pelvic floor dysfunctions, including urinary and bowel incontinence, pelvic pain, and postpartum recovery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides direct patient care specializing in pelvic health, including treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, pre/postnatal conditions, and related musculoskeletal issues.
- Collaborates with physicians, referring providers, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
- Monitors patient outcomes
- Stays current with research and continuing education in pelvic health and physical therapy.
- Participates in team meetings and other clinical and staff meetings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and organizational skills.
- Passion for education, collaboration, and improving patient outcomes in pelvic health.
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. frequently when lifting supplies, equipment, etc.; ability to lift 11-25 lbs. occasionally when lifting equipment, patients, etc.; lift 26-50 lbs. occasionally when lifting and transferring patients, equipment, etc.; ability to lift over 50 lbs. occasionally when lifting and transferring a patient with assistance of another staff member.
- Visual and auditory acuity to assess patients and observe treatment effectiveness.
- Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist required
- Possession of a degree from a baccalaureate/ university program in physical therapy approved by the American Physical Therapy Association required
- Specialized training and experience in pelvic health physical therapy, minimum 3 years preferred
- Pelvic health certifications (e.g., CAPP-Pelvic, PRPC) strongly preferred
- CPR/BLS certification required and willing to train
