The Role

As a Server Assistant at Wilder’s, you are the backbone of our dining room. You aren’t just "bussing tables"; you are a crucial part of a high-energy team that maintains the sophisticated, Art Deco-inspired ambiance our guests expect. You will work closely with our stylishly suited servers to ensure the pace of the meal is seamless and every detail—from the polished brass to the fine china—is perfect.

Key Responsibilities

• Table Maintenance: Clear and reset tables with precision, ensuring flatware and glassware meet our high standards of cleanliness and placement.
• Guest Support: Provide proactive service by refilling water, clearing crumbs, and assisting with bread service.
• Food Running: Assist the kitchen by delivering dishes to tables with a professional and graceful presence.
• Atmosphere Care: Maintain the "New York vibe" of our dining room by ensuring stations are stocked and the environment remains tidy and inviting.
• Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with servers and management to anticipate guest needs before they are even voiced.

Qualifications

• Attention to Detail: An eye for the small things that elevate a guest’s experience.
• Stamina: Ability to stay on your feet in a fast-paced, high-volume environment (including nights and weekends).
• Team Player: A "no task is too small" attitude and a desire to support your coworkers.
• Experience: Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale steakhouse environment is a plus, but we are willing to train candidates with the right attitude and work ethic.
