Job Title: Materials Supervisor

Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Supervisor to lead the warehousing, inventory, and logistics department in an automotive manufacturing setting
• The ideal candidate will oversee inventory management, material scheduling, and general supply chain functions, ensuring the efficient operation of the materials department

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the inventory control team to ensure accurate material handling
• Identify material needs for production and coordinate logistics and warehousing activities
• Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize material flow
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of material supervision experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
• Experience working with 4+ delivery docks in shipping and receiving settings
• Experience managing supply chain operations for environments handling 8+ parts numbers
• 2+ years of Excel experience, including creating charts, graphs, pivot tables, columns, and formulas

This is a Permanent position based out of Macomb, MI.

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
