🔹 Role Summary

The Quality Manager ensures business processes meet all quality system, customer, and regulatory requirements. This role drives a culture of quality across teams and serves as a key interface with customers while proactively improving quality performance in a manufacturing environment.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all business processes comply with quality systems, customer, and regulatory requirements
• Drive a quality-focused culture within Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
• Act as the primary quality interface for customers
• Lead efforts to reduce cost of non-conformance (CONC) across departments
• Maintain quality standards, accreditations, and procedures through internal/external audits
• Define and develop competency requirements to support quality objectives
• Track and measure quality targets; develop action plans to address root causes of variances
• Manage quality assurance and control processes within IPTs
• Identify and strengthen weak areas in business processes
• Champion Root Cause Problem Solving (RCPS) and Zero Defects initiatives
• Promote a customer-centric quality organization aligned with performance expectations
• Drive product safety mindset and ensure compliance with third-party accreditations
• Train, mentor, and coach team members on tools and quality improvement goals
• Perform additional duties as assigned

📌 Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• 3+ years of experience managing teams, processes, and improving KPIs
• 1+ year in AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 environments
• Proven ability to manage quality systems and regulatory standards in manufacturing
• Ability to travel up to 25%
• U.S. Person status required per ITAR regulations (Citizen, Green Card, Asylee, or Refugee)

🌟 Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technical field
• Contract review experience
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• 3+ years’ experience with Root Cause Analysis, Lean Manufacturing, SPC, and Lifecycle Management
• 2+ years’ experience auditing Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• 3+ years’ experience interpreting technical documents (GD&T, drawings, engineering orders)
• Project/Program Management and APQP experience
• Skilled in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio)
• Familiarity with ASME Y14.5, budgets, and estimating processes
• Quality assurance experience in design/manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of government/military contracts, aerospace industry standards, FAA regulations, or military aviation
