Administrative Assistant to Executive Director
We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to the Executive Director, daily office needs and managing our company's general administrative support activities.
Key responsibilities will be attendance at monthly board meetings; taking board minutes; putting board packages together; communications with JHC staff and board members as needed. Additional responsibilities include scheduling meetings both virtual and in person meetings for the Executive Director, taking minutes and project management; google calendar management and scheduling, gathering and compiling information for HUD reports as needed.
Administrative Assistant responsibilities include making travel and meeting arrangements, preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filing systems. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like Microsoft Office products, MS Excel . This individual will also interact with the public , tenants and vendors on occasion. Must have prior experience handling confidential information and excellent customer service skills. Associates Degree preferred, High School Diploma minimum requirement.
If you also have 5 years of previous experience as a Secretary, Office Manager or Administrative Executive Assistant, we'd like to meet you. Human Services background, or prior experience in Housing a plus! Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, Virtual Assistant or Office Admin Assistant.

- Microsoft Excel: 2 years (Preferred)

- Driver's License (Required)
Ability to Relocate:
- Jackson, MI: Relocate before starting work (Required)
