Customer Service Data Entry Clerk
This is a remote position.

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Remote Customer Service Data Entry Clerk to join our team. This hybrid role involves handling customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat while accurately entering and updating data in our systems. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service Duties:
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or live chat in a timely and professional manner
Provide accurate information about products, services, orders, billing, or company policies
Resolve customer issues or complaints effectively, escalating complex problems when necessary
Document customer interactions, feedback, and resolutions in internal systems
Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude with customers always
Data Entry Duties:
Accurately input customer information, order details, and case notes into company databases
Update and maintain customer records, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
Process orders, returns, or service requests as needed
Identify data discrepancies and correct or escalate them according to company procedures
Assist with compiling basic reports or summaries from customer data
Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred)
Prior experience in customer service, data entry, or administrative roles (1+ year preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent typing skills (40+ WPM) and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM or ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Salesforce, HubSpot)
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a remote setting
Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first attitude
Comfortable working independently and in virtual team environments
