Field Technician - Locator
General Description: Assist in the site preparation and project operations .
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the safekeeping and return of all tools assigned.
- Understand of the proper location for each tool and various supplies within the Closed Circuit Inspection vehicle
- Use Company tools and equipment in a manner to prevent damage to Company equipment or the property of others.
- Upon arrival at the job site, assist the CCTV operator with setting up traffic control devices and setting up the inspection equipment.
- Apply the maintenance necessary for all the tools and equipment (oil & greasing) on the job site.
- Ensure that the job sites are periodically cleaned and all debris is disposed of at the end of each day.
- Ensure that the site has been properly secured at the end of the day
- Serve as a mentor when needed
- Additional tasks may be requested as needed to meet overall objectives of the Taplin Group.
