Electrical Sales Associate

:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for electrical sales and negotiating contracts. This individual will also assist with vendor management and order processing. Ability to read and understand plans and project specifications is essential. This person will also be responsible for preparing submittals and attending pre-bid and pre-construction meetings.

This is an excellent opportunity for an electrical pro to take their career to the next level. The successful candidate will have at least 1-3 years of experience as an electrician and/or in electrical/generator sales, manufacturing and/or engineering.

This position can be based out of our Taylor MI office but will service all surrounding counties (Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Monroe, etc.), in addition to our second office in Troy, MI.

Responsibilities Include:

• Generac Generator sales (residential and industrial)
• Electrical project sales (residential and industrial)
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within industry segment
• Collaborate with owners to establish business strategies and goals
• Project estimating and quote development
• Ensure timely completion of projects within budget
• Project Management (as appropriate or as assigned)
• The ability to communicate well and work with others is important for this position
• Conduct regular customer visits, office visits, and job site visits
• Proactively up-sell customers and update our them on equipment lead times and ship dates
• Meet weekly/quarterly sales goals*

Qualifications:

• Exceptional accuracy in data entry and meticulous attention to detail.
• Possesses a polished and professional demeanor, ensuring effective communication and positive interactions in all business settings
• Previous experience as a licensed electrician
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office Suites
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
• High school diploma or equivalent

Base Pay + Commission*

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
