HVAC Optimization Lead - GM

Job Description

The HVAC Optimization Lead enhances energy efficiency, reduces operational costs, and ensures optimal performance of HVAC systems across the organization.

Job Responsibilities

• • The HVAC Optimization Lead reviews campus Tridium system performance and alarms and partners with building teams to resolve.
  • Compile HVAC issues to identify repeated issues and make recommendations for future NPP funding/replacements
  • Optimize HVAC performance using advanced features of the Tridium BMS.
  • Analyze systems to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
  • Audit and provide recommendations to preventative maintenance schedules to prolong equipment life.
  • Provide training and support to the maintenance team for advanced system utilization.
  • Have oversight of the Steam and Chilled Water Plants
  • Ensuring customer focus within all operational activities and ensuring effective relationships are maintained with key client contacts.
  • Management of employees; this will include their personal development, performance management and development including succession planning.

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to read drawings and blueprints and interpret specification
• 3-5 years’ experience in a process driven HVAC maintenance position required.
• Extensive Tridium BMS experience required
• Must have the ability to understand and apply industry standards for installation, repairs, and safety.
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
