What You’ll Do :
Whisker is seeking an Associate Product Manager – Accessories & Consumables to take ownership of the accessories and consumables portfolio supporting our connected pet-care devices. This role is ideal for a product manager with at least 2 years of experience who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You will be responsible for both managing existing products and identifying new opportunities in the accessories and consumables category.
You will work closely with physical device product managers and business development to define product plans, develop forecasts, manage vendor relationships, and ensure continuous product improvement. While this role does not oversee product marketing, you will collaborate with business development, creative, and brand management teams to support go-to-market execution.
Summary:
The Associate Product Manager manages and grows the Whisker portfolio of pet-care product add-ons, focusing on product strategy, vendor relationships, and continuous improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Defines and manages the accessories and consumables portfolio, including the development of new products
- Identifies, evaluates, and develops strategic vendor and supplier partnerships to optimize product quality, cost, and availability
- Develops and maintains accurate forecasts, business models, and financial analyses to support category growth and profitability
- Identifies and implements improvements in product quality, cost efficiency, and overall consumer experience
- Assists in ongoing relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring alignment with product needs
- Works with internal teams to ensure product packaging meets brand, quality, and functional requirements
- Supports business development, creative, and brand management teams in executing marketing strategies and go-to-market efforts
- Supports cost and pricing strategy efforts by working closely with product marketing and business development teams
- Will perform additional responsibilities when required
Requirements
What You’ll Bring :
- 2+ years of experience in product management, preferably with consumer goods, accessories, or consumables
- Experience in defining product strategy and managing vendor relationships
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to build forecasts and business models
- Maintains confidentiality of proprietary information
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Passion for pets and a deep understanding of pet owners’ needs
- Ability to maintain a professional atmosphere in a fast-paced environment with numerous interactions and interruptions
- A high degree of initiative, self-motivation, and ability to motivate others
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with Team Members and colleagues
- Comfortable with office pets (cats, dogs)
