Job Description
This is a four-month assignment with the potential to become a long-term position. As a Software Reflash Technician, you will work as part of a team onsite with a customer in Auburn Hills MI. You will be responsible for updating vehicle module software and may occasionally travel within the metro Detroit area.
Responsibilities

Update vehicle software on vehicles/modules.

Adhere to team rules, policies, job procedures, quality standards, and required clothing/safety equipment standards.

Troubleshoot issues that develop with Supervision, Data Prep, or Engineering.

Send/upload log files and accurate vehicle completion reports regularly for customer reporting purposes.

Monitor all equipment used on a project to ensure everything is performing at acceptable levels and report any failures or concerns immediately.

Maintain a positive working relationship with local customer management and resident engineers to ensure all needs are met.

Return all vehicles to the customer according to team 'Perfect Delivery' standards every time.
Essential Skills
-
Diploma
-
Proficiency in computer skills, particularly MS Office (Word and Excel) for filling out reports.

Hands-on experience in electronics, computers, vehicles, mobile phones, vehicle electronics, or automotive technology labs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
-
Experience in diagnostic tools (e.g., scan tools) - Preferred
-
Experience in vehicle testing, automotive technology, software troubleshooting, and electronic technology. - Preferred
Work Environment
The position is available in Auburn Hills, MI, with flexible 1st shift hours, typically from 7 AM to 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The work environment requires wearing appropriate work clothes including closed-toe shoes, un-ripped jeans or work pants, and collared shirts.

This is a Contract position based out of Auburn Hills, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
