General Labor | 1st Shift
Description
Summary Visually inspects, wraps, and package parts. Works with other packers in daily activities to meet production needs. Duties and Responsibilities- Pack and unpack parts to customer specification
- Inspect parts for nicks, dings, blisters, & color distortion
- Count and verify production orders
- Efficiently wrap and package parts
- Responsible for checking quality of work to ensure it meets the customer's expectations
- Responsible for a clean working area
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions
- Ability to visually inspect each part for quality and consistency
- Ability to apply reasoning and understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems by being flexible in otherwise normal situations
- Factory floor experience desired
- Packaging experience preferred
- Quality inspection experience a plus
