Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of manufacturing costs, variances, and production efficiencies.
• Develop and maintain financial models for production planning, pricing strategies, and cost optimization.
• Prepare comprehensive budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans for manufacturing operations.
• Analyze capital expenditure requests, performing ROI and payback period calculations for new equipment and projects.
• Generate regular financial reports on inventory valuation, turns, obsolescence, and COGS.
• Collaborate with operational teams to identify cost reduction opportunities and improve financial performance.
• Support month-end close activities related to manufacturing expenses and inventory adjustments.

Recommended Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of cost accounting principles and manufacturing financial analysis.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting for production operations.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for financial and operational data extraction.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex manufacturing data and identify trends or inefficiencies.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas, for large datasets.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with cost accounting and variance analysis in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) specific to manufacturing modules
• Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles or other process improvement methodologies
