The Landscaping Supervisor will oversee small teams of 1-5 members working on commercial and residential landscaping projects. This role involves direct team management, project planning, and on-site inspections to ensure quality and timely completion. The supervisor will coordinate materials and equipment, manage both hand tools and heavy machinery, and maintain moderate client communication without the need for travel between job sites.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead small landscaping teams of 1-5 members
- Plan and organize landscaping projects for commercial and residential sites
- Conduct site inspections to monitor project progress and quality
- Maintain and oversee equipment operation and upkeep
- Coordinate materials to ensure timely availability on site
- Communicate effectively with clients to address concerns and project updates
- Implement quality control measures to meet project standards
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in landscaping supervision
- 2+ years of hardscaping experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of landscape design and project management
- Proficiency in equipment operation, including hand tools and heavy machinery
- Strong team leadership and communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and time management abilities
