Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district in Stanton, MI, is seeking four dedicated Special Education Teachers for the uping academic year (CSY contract). These full-time positions, starting August 14, 2025, offer a unique opportunity to work in a K-12 public school setting, supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Openings include:

• High School Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Teacher requires Autism Spectrum Endorsement
• Elementary Emotional Impairment (EI) Teacher requires EI Endorsement
• Secondary EI Teacher (middle and high school) requires EI Endorsement
• Elementary ASD Teacher requires Autism Spectrum Endorsement

Candidates must have a valid Michigan teaching license with the appropriate endorsement for the role they wish to fill. Previous experience working with students with special needs is preferred but not mandatory. The schedule includes 37.25 hours per week, allowing educators to fully engage with their students and contribute to their academic and social growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students needs
• Collaborate with general education staff, families, and support personnel to ensure successful learning outes
• Utilize specialized teaching strategies aligned with Autism Spectrum and Emotional Impairment endorsements
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional methods as needed
• Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
