Position Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing plastic injection mold projects from initial quote through final delivery. This role involves working closely with internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage new mold builds (domestically & internationally) and engineering changes from kickoff through completion

· Serve as primary point of contact between customers and internal teams

· Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and documentation

· Coordinate with design, tooling, and manufacturing teams to ensure timely progress

· Monitor and communicate project milestones, delays, or concerns

· Manage supplier relationships and track outsourced work

· Track job profitability and take corrective action when needed

· Facilitate kickoff meetings, regular status updates, and final project reviews

Qualifications

· 5+ years of project management experience in plastic injection molds or tooling industry

· Strong understanding of mold building and plastic injection processes

· Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills

· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

· Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite

· Experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously

· Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
