Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide direct care, supervision, and guidance of children in a loving, positive, and Christian environment. Caregivers provide support for the lead teacher.

Requirements:

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• A nurturing, dependable, and team-oriented personality
• CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Must be able to stand, bend, walk for most of the shift.
• Detail oriented
• Focused

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of the children at all times
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
• Implement and supervise activities that promote the healthy emotional, social, cognitive, and physical growth of each child.
• Maintain an organized environment.
• Assist lead teachers in lessons and daily classroom activities.
• Build strong, supportive relationships with families.

Ida Kids Center is a licensed non-profit daycare and preschool facility within the Prince of Peace Church building in Ida, MI.

An important part of the childcare experience is providing both parents and children with a supportive and loving atmosphere on a daily basis. In this environment, we strive to create parental peace of mind, child confidence, and developmental progress.
