Summary:
Provides clerical support and assistance to Nursing Department.:

Qualifications:

• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Licenses/Certification:

• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) preferred

Experience:

• 1-2 years experience in Nursing Environment
• 1-2 years office experience

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for providing secretarial support for all employees within an assigned nursing unit
• Maintains and updates patients' records for a given unit.
• Communicates with Doctors , families and residents in a professional manner
• Accurately file resident records in their charts.
• Assist the nursing team in documentation
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members.
• Must be organized and have the ability to follow directions.
• Ability to be patient and polite.
• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
