Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The NP will provide comprehensive urgent care services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for patients of all ages. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including obtaining medical histories, conducting physical exams, and ordering/interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications within scope of practice.
• Provide patient education on health promotion, disease prevention, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
• Document patient encounters accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Adhere to all clinical protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming clinical environment.
• Must hold a valid DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) registration number.

Qualifications:

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Michigan.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, or relevant specialty preferred).
• BLS/ACLS certification required.
• Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Saturday–Sunday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
