Salary Range: $83,000 - $128,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations and company policies.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures for the manufacturing facility.
• Conduct regular EHS inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures to reduce recurrence.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for all employees.
• Manage hazardous waste disposal and ensure proper handling and storage of chemicals and materials.
• Drive continuous improvement in EHS performance and culture across the site.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EHS, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
• 5-7+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, including supervisory or management roles.
• Demonstrated expertise in OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage EHS programs and management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Strong leadership, communication, and training skills with a track record of driving EHS culture change.
• Professional EHS certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) highly preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems implementation and auditing.
• Proficiency in EHS software platforms and data analytics for trend identification and predictive safety.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and leading behavior-based safety programs.
• Lean/Six Sigma certification or experience applying continuous improvement methodologies to EHS processes.
