The Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for all functions related to the loan processing and funding for Consumer Direct and Indirect Lending. The Loan Servicing Specialist ensures for the quality of documents and application information is as expected with minimal errors while practicing sound decision-making to allow exceptions as needed for the flow of business. The Loan Servicing Specialist reviews dealer loan packets to ensure policy, guidelines, and allowances are in balance and handles other administrative tasks as assigned relating to Direct and Indirect Consumer Lending functions and quality control auditing.

  • Review Indirect and Mobility loan packages to ensure they correspond with the loan application, confirm the accuracy of member information, and determine steps necessary to complete processing and funding in an accurate and timely manner. Calculate and disburse dealer reserves and special payouts as needed. Ensure adherence to Indirect and Mobility program guidelines or exceptions made and approved by appropriate authorities. Follow up with dealers on missing documents, stipulations, exception requests, funding questions, etc.
  • Review Direct Consumer loan applications for quality and completeness. Follows up with Lending staff on clearing found audit exceptions on a timely basis. Loan processing, package building, funding, and package closing in accordance with established loan quality audit standards established by Management.
  • Perform loan maintenance including, but not limited to: collateral updates, adjustments to incorrect purpose, security, or loan category codes, SUBS action form maintenance, payment reversals and reposting, approved modifications, custom field entries, etc.
  • Posting internal and/or external mail payments and adjustments as needed. Sending documents received by mail such as invoices, garnishments, subpoenas, etc. to the correct department. Responsible for sending Adverse Action and other related notices. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
