Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to perform high‑quality welds on a variety of steel materials. This role requires the ability to weld efficiently to professional standards, read blueprints, and work independently in a fabrication environment

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel materials ranging from 14‑gauge to 1" thickness, producing clean, structurally sound welds.
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and tape‑measure measurements to complete jobs accurately.
• Fit, tack, and weld metal components according to specifications using standard shop tools.
• Perform MIG welding on various types of metal, including vertical and horizontal welds.
• Maintain quality and consistency in welds to ensure strength and appearance.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of MIG welding and fabrication experience.
• Ability to read and work from blueprints.
• Experience tacking, fitting, and finishing weldments.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced fabrication environment.
• TIG welding experience is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allegan, MI.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Allegan,MI.
