We are seeking candidates who are interested in facilitating a structured learning opportunity/course that facilitates the connections between students' liberal arts education and experiential, internship opportunities. Candidates must prize and work to further our desire to foster and cultivate inclusivity and belonging in the classroom and beyond.

The appointment is scheduled to begin on January 1, 2026, and end on April 30, 2026.

Students are likely to have some experience with internships, job searching, or planning for graduate study. The course will focus on exploring the value of their education in the liberal arts and sciences, building a strategy to provide concrete steps to reaching their goals, and articulating in various ways, for various audiences, stories of their professional interests, accomplishments, and abilities. A central feature of the course is an essay in which students synthesize the value of their unique Michigan education. Students are encouraged to actively draw on their peers as sources of experience, advice, and feedback.
