Specials Teacher-Art, P.E. and Tech
South Olive Christian School is looking for a Part-time Specials Teacher for PreK-8 The overall responsibility of the PreK-8 Part-time Specials Teacher is to plan, instruct and direct all art, P.E. and Technology Classes
Job Requirements Job Requirements
- Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that is a consistent testimony among others
- Faithfully attend and financially support a local church whose beliefs are in agreement with our school
- Agree to uphold to the South Olive Christian’s Statement of Faith
- Must have adequate Art education skills as well as an understanding of varying teaching modalities
- Must have an excitement about working with pre-school, elementary and middle school students
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
- Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment and to react with discretion under varying conditions
Education Requirements Applicants should have a degree in either ART, P.E., Tech/Computer Science or Elementary Education and either a valid Michigan State teaching license or willingness to work towards one.
