We’re looking for a personable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cashier to join our team and support our service and sales departments with professionalism and accuracy. Job Type & Schedule Job Type: * Part-time, 15-25 hours per week Schedule: * Evenings and weekends required * Monday & Thursday: 5pm-8pm * Saturday: 8am-1pm Work Requirements: * Work Location: In person * Ability to Commute: Holland, MI (Required) Role Summary The Part-Time Cashier at Barber Ford is responsible for ensuring that every customer transaction is handled accurately and professionally. This position will greet customers, process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be dependable, organized, and enjoy working in a fast-paced dealership environment. Responsibilities * Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner at the cashier window * Process customer payments for service, parts, and vehicle purchases via cash, check, or credit card * Answer main phone line for the dealership and route calls to appropriate person or department * Schedule service appointments. * Accurately record and reconcile daily cash, credit, and check transactions * Issue receipts, refunds, or credit memos as directed by management * Maintain and balance cash drawer at the end of each shift * Assist with general office and clerical duties as needed * Provide support to the service department by answering questions or directing customers to appropriate staff * Handle customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy * Maintain a clean and organized work area * Assist with switchboard or receptionist duties as needed Qualifications * Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred (automotive experience a plus) * Basic math and computer skills required * Excellent communication and organizational skills * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to handle multiple transactions and prioritize tasks efficiently * Professional appearance and positive attitude * Must be reliable and punctual, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends * Valid driver’s license preferred Why Join Barber Ford * Family-owned and operated dealership with a welcoming environment * Supportive and team-oriented culture * Opportunity for growth and cross-training within the dealership Benefits * Competitive hourly pay * Employee discounts on vehicles, service, and parts * Opportunities for advancement within the dealership Equal Opportunity Employer Statement Barber Ford is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
