Type: Travel – Temporary Assignment, PRN This travel PRN ICU assignment places you in a hospital-level setting serving adolescent to geriatric patients. The role follows a structured clinical interview process with AHSA, including rapid outreach by phone or text and same-day or next-business-day decisions when possible. Candidates with negative background or employment history may experience a different processing timeline. You will be working in an ICU/SDU environment that supports a broad range of critical diagnoses and requires proactive, professional nursing care and supervision of ancillary staff. Key Highlights

- Travel PRN assignment with nights (12-hour shifts)
- Start date: 07/20/2026
- Setting: Intensive Care Unit and Step-down Unit within an acute care hospital
- Must pick up at least one shift every 60 days to remain active
- AHSA interview process with rapid decision timelines; outreach typically within two hours Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU/SDU, from adolescent to geriatric.
- Monitor patients, interpret clinical data, and implement physician orders for medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurosurgical conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments; manage ventilator support and hemodynamic monitoring as required.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to CNAs/SNAs, LPNs, and other health care workers as assigned.
- Maintain professional standards of nursing practice, ensure patient safety, and document care accurately. Requirements
- Active Michigan RN license (verification by LARA) required
- Minimum 2+ years ICU experience required
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Current resume showing ICU experience; Skills checklist current to within 1 year
- Documentation of Michigan license verification and physical copies of certifications
- Willingness to work in ICU and SDU settings in a traveling, PRN assignment
- Must complete the Per Diem Application Questionnaire (program-provided form) as part of onboarding
- Must pick up at least one shift every 60 days to remain active
