Cargo Handler (Lumper)
Location: Savannah, GA 31408
Job Type: Temporary, On-Call
Schedule: Monday–Friday (on-call; hours vary)
Availability: Weekday availability required (no weekends)
Pay: Production-based earnings (paid weekly)
Position Overview
We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Freight Operations Associates. This on-call role supports daily warehouse operations by unloading shipments, handling freight, and maintaining an organized and safe work environment. Candidates should be reliable, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight from trailers and containers, either manually or using pallet jacks
- Organize and stage products efficiently within the warehouse
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Assist with additional warehouse tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Must have full weekday availability (Monday–Friday, on-call schedule)
- Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs on a regular basis
- Strong reliability and attention to detail
- Comfortable in a physically demanding, high-paced environment
- Previous warehouse or freight handling experience preferred but not required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
