Occupational Therapist Job Details

• Location: Three Rivers, Michigan – Southwestern Michigan healthcare jobs in a welcoming small town with scenic rivers and parks
• Setting: Outpatient Rehab Clinic
• Employment Type: Travel Occupational Therapist
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2100-$2150
• Start Date: September 15, 2025
• End Date: December 15, 2025
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: Day shifts, Monday–Thursday, 4x8-hour shifts (08:00–16:30)
• Hours: 40 hours/week expected; 32 hours/week guaranteed
• Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Daily Census: 8–10 patients
• Charting System: Redoc (Cerner experience preferred)

Occupational Therapist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• BLS certification required
• NBCOT certification required
• Active Michigan OT license or willingness to obtain
• Experience with outpatient adult and geriatric populations preferred
• Ability to complete up to 8 hours of onboarding modules prior to start
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (no local candidates)

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, and soft tissue injuries in an outpatient rehab setting
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care for diverse patient populations
• Utilize adaptive equipment, dynamic/static splints, and therapeutic modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, fluidotherapy)
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and injury prevention
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team (PT, SLP) to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient progress and reassessments using Redoc charting system
• Participate in orientation and required training modules
• Float to affiliate hospitals as needed based on patient census
