PRN Physical Therapist Assistant

(PRN - Field Based)

Serving South Lyon to Plymouth up to Walled Lake

What You'll Do

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll help patients reach their mobility and independence goals by providing high-quality therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care in accordance with each patient's Plan of Care.

• Follow the established Plan of Care and communicate any changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.

• Adhere to state practice guidelines and Elara Caring's standards for exceptional home health care.

• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use of assistive devices and home exercise programs.

• Perform hands-on, active work that includes lifting, transferring, and assisting patients as needed.

What You'll Need

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program approved by the American Therapy Association.

• Current, unrestricted PTA license valid in the state of practice.

• Minimum of six months of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.

• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned coverage area.

• Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently, with the capacity to lift 50-100 lbs.
