Probate Attorney
Clarkston Legal seeks an Associate Attorney with 1-2-years of experience in probate law. Solid legal research, legal writing and investigative skills a must. We are looking for an attorney that is confident in the courtroom, and who knows how to maintain excellent client relationships.
A qualified candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong practice skills in probate court, estate planning, trust administration, guardianships, conservatorships, and general probate litigation.
- Ability to manage a probate docket by taking personal professional responsibility over a wide-range of transactional and litigation files.
- Interpersonal skills with a team-player mentality and excellent client relations capability.
- Professionally motivated for possible advancement within the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court.
- Prepare and draft legal documents and probate notices on behalf of clients.
- Advise clients on business and legal transactions.
- Negotiate settlements for legal disputes.
- Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
- Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.
- Billing time using Clio.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional appearance and manner.
- Punctual.
