Diesel Mechanic
Careerscape is hiring for a Casper trucking company that needs skilled Diesel Mechanics to maintain and repair their fleet of heavy trucks and trailers. You'll diagnose problems, make repairs, and keep commercial vehicles running reliably.

- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and systems
- Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers
- Repair brakes, transmissions, and drivetrain components
- Troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems
- Conduct DOT inspections and ensure compliance
- Weld and fabricate repairs as needed
- Document all repairs and maintenance performed
- Order parts and maintain shop inventory
- Work efficiently to minimize vehicle downtime
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of diesel mechanic experience required
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of heavy duty truck systems
- ASE certifications in diesel preferred
- Ability to use diagnostic computers and tools
- Own basic hand and power tools
- Physical ability to lift heavy parts and work under vehicles
- Valid driver license for test driving trucks
