Location: Multiple U.S. Locations – View all locations

Program Duration: Summer 2026 (10 Weeks)

Pay Range: $18–$25 per hour (based on location, experience, and academic level)

Program Overview

Our Summer Internship Program offers real-world exposure to continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment, giving you the opportunity to contribute to meaningful operational projects from day one. Over 10 weeks, you will gain:

  • Hands-on experience supporting lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives.
  • Mentorship and guidance from experienced operational and CI leaders.
  • A professional network across functions and facilities.
  • Career-ready analytical, problem-solving, and professional skills.

What You’ll Do

As a Continuous Improvement Intern, you will:

  • Support teams in identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities.
  • Assist with lean initiatives focused on waste reduction, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Collect and analyze operational data to track performance and recommend improvements.
  • Participate in activities such as value stream mapping, 5S, and root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in manufacturing, quality, and engineering.
  • Complete a capstone intern project and present results to leadership.

Qualifications

We’re seeking motivated students who are ready to learn, grow, and contribute:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale).
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma concepts, or process improvement tools preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to take initiative.
  • Ability to work on-site at one of our locations for the duration of the program.
