Position Summary: The Rehabilitation Nursing Director is responsible for overseeing all nursing operations across NeuLife Rehabilitation's residential programs. This leadership role ensures clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and high-quality patient care. The Rehabilitation Nursing Director will supervise nursing staff, implement evidence-based practices, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to drive optimal outcomes and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and clinical oversight to nursing teams across all residential locations.
- Develop, implement, and enforce nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations and internal protocols.
- Monitor patient care delivery and lead quality assurance initiatives.
- Recruit, train, and retain qualified nursing professionals.
- Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
- Manage departmental budgets and allocate resources efficiently.
- Conduct audits, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives.
- Travel regularly to local residential sites to support operations and ensure consistency in care delivery.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN license in the State of Michigan.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or Healthcare Administration (MHA) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience, preferably in post-acute or rehabilitation settings.
- Strong knowledge of clinical operations, nursing standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel locally as needed.
