Receptionist
The receptionist provides warm, kind, caring, and personal service to donors, visitors, and callers, while accurately and efficiently processing donations, sales, and free booklet requests, and providing administrative support to the leadership team. Duties shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Answer the phone with a high level of enthusiasm and desire to serve people well.
- Manage email and voicemails, answering inquiries or directing them to the appropriate person.
- Receive and greet office guests, offering a high level of hospitality and care.
- Retrieve mail, and efficiently process donations, orders, and free booklet requests.
- Assist with mailings and fulfilling orders.
- Assist with donor stewardship tasks, such as entering donor comments, tracking prayer requests, requesting Masses, and calling donors.
- Assist with event registration, setup, hospitality, and clean-up as needed.
- Assist the President, Chief Administrative Officer, and Executive Administrator with various tasks, as requested.
- Other tasks, as assigned.
- A personal commitment to Catholic orthodoxy, evangelization, and the mission of Renewal Ministries.
- A genuine enjoyment in connecting with other people
- A strong desire to serve and care for people well in-person, and via phone and email.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask
- Strong typing skills
- High attention to detail
- Reports to the Chief Administrative Officer
- Is part-time (28 hours per week)
- Is in-person in Renewal Ministries' Ann Arbor office
- Compensation is commensurate with education and experience.
