Position Overview
Mixed Staffing and Recruiting is seeking a dependable and team-oriented Manufacturing Team Lead to support post-production operations on 2nd shift. The ideal candidate excels at leadership, problem-solving, and coaching team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role helps ensure productivity, safety, and quality standards are met while serving as a key point of communication between production teams and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and mentor production team members in post-production areas
- Ensure daily operations meet production schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements
- Assign tasks and monitor team performance
- Document and communicate production issues, corrective actions, and process improvements
- Support training of new and existing team members
- Maintain accurate production records and reporting
- Assist in identifying opportunities for operational efficiency and improvement
- Enforce safety guidelines and promote a safe work environment
Qualifications
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and coach a team
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable attendance and ability to work 2nd shift schedule
- Forklift experience preferred (if applicable)
Shift & Schedule
- 2nd Shift (typically afternoon/evening hours)
- Consistent schedule with opportunity for overtime
- Team-oriented environment
