Seasonal Nursery Sales

We are looking for energetic, reliable, and enthusiastic plant lovers to join our team as Seasonal Nursery/Garden Center Sales Team Members. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding role, ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and interacting with customers. Along with tending and stocking plants, you will be working directly with customers to help them select the right plants and supplies for their gardening needs and processing their purchases through our POS system. We are hiring for several positions with some roles available through the end of the year.

Customer Service experience is required.

We are open 7 days a week: Weekend availability is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist customers in selecting plants, garden supplies, and other merchandise.

Provide exceptional customer service and gardening advice when needed.

Operate point of sale (POS) system to complete customer transactions.

Ensure the garden center is well-stocked, organized, and presentable.

Maintain knowledge of plant varieties, care instructions, and gardening tools.

Perform physical tasks including standing for long periods, repetitive lifting, and working in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications:

Previous point of sales (POS) experience is required.

Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment with a strong customer service focus.

Must be able to lift and carry heavy items (up to 40 lbs) and stand for extended periods.

Knowledge of plants and gardening tools required.

Landscaping knowledge is a plus, but not required.

Position Details:

Seasonal position- Late April through Summer with the possibility of developing into longer term or permanent role.

Hours and shifts vary, but weekends are required.
