About Us:
Jumpstart 2 Recovery LLC, is a minority-owned practice specializing in substance use disorders and mental health. We provide client-centered, individualized treatment, emphasizing the importance of a strong support system and self-love. Our services include therapy for depression, anxiety, grief, stress, bipolar disorder, PTSD, relationship issues, addiction recovery, and more. Our approach integrates Brainspotting, CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing, along with career counseling, license restoration, alcohol/drug monitoring, anger management, and couples therapy. We offer both in-person and telehealth services.
Position Overview:
We are seeking two Independent Contractor (1099) Therapists to join our growing team in Michigan. As a private practice therapist with Jumpstart 2 Recovery, you will have the flexibility to create your own schedule and build your own caseload based on your desired population or niche. We provide an EHR (Electronic Health Record) system, SimplePractice, for progress notes and to bill and submit insurance claims to Medicaid and various private insurances, including Blue Cross Blue Shield and Priority Health. This is an exciting opportunity to host and mentor interns and aspiring clinicians who are currently limited or pre-licensed.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to clients based on their needs.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and goals.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the provided SimplePractice EHR system.
Participate in supervision and consultation sessions as needed.
Build and develop a caseload with clients from your desired or niche population.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and referral sources.
Attend mandatory training and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
Current licensure in Michigan (LMSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent).
Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience.
Experience with substance use disorder treatment and mental health counseling.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload.
Commitment to providing high-quality, client-centered care.
Flexibility to work both in-person and via telehealth, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Brainspotting, CBT, DBT, EMDR, or Motivational Interviewing.
Previous experience as a supervisor or mentor for interns and pre-licensed clinicians.
Knowledge of Medicaid and private insurance billing processes.
