Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operational activities including shipping, receiving, fabrication scheduling, inventory management, and installation coordination.
This role will be responsible for leading a team of four employees, ensuring daily operations run efficiently, maintaining accountability across the department, and helping create structure through consistent policies and procedures. The ideal candidate is someone who can step in immediately, lead by example, hold employees accountable professionally, and keep operations moving forward in a fast-paced environment.
The Operations Manager will report directly to the General Manager and play a key role in helping unify the team while supporting continued operational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operational activities including shipping, receiving, installation coordination, and fabrication scheduling
- Oversee inventory management and purchase stock products to maintain proper min/max inventory levels
- Utilize ERP software to review inventory, pull reports, generate purchase orders, and support operational efficiency
- Lead weekly Level 10 operations meetings and participate in leadership meetings to provide departmental updates
- Supervise, coach, and hold team members accountable to operational expectations and productivity goals
- Support hiring, onboarding, employee development, and performance management initiatives
- Ensure policies and procedures are followed consistently throughout the department
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance and operational logistics as needed
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment
- Drive operational efficiency and ensure day-to-day tasks are completed accurately and on schedule
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of operations leadership experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience working with inventory systems, ERP systems, or operational reporting tools
- Ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and keep teams focused and productive
- Comfortable working with numbers, inventory flow, and operational processes
- Familiarity with warehouse, fabrication, or distribution environments preferred
- Positive, personable leadership style that aligns with a collaborative company culture
