Position Summary

The Lead Inspector is responsible for leading the inspection function, ensuring products meet customer, regulatory, and company requirements while supporting continuous improvement throughout the Quality Management System (QMS). This position works closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Program Management to maintain the highest standards of product conformity and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify product compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, customer requirements, and industry standards.

• Review and approve inspection records and quality documentation.

• Prepare and review AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).

• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.

• Ensure inspection activities are performed in accordance with company procedures and customer requirements.

• Ensure all required certifications, test reports, and objective evidence accompany shipments.

• Review supplier quality documentation and certifications.

• Creating Final inspection packages
